This Spotlight Saturday we are featuring Christopher Milford!
Christopher is an actor, volunteer, and secretary on the Board of Directors at the community theatre. When asked why he joined the community theatre he said
“In the spring of 2017, my friend Philip Hiott called me and asked if I’d like to read for a role in Annie Get Your Gun, in which he was already cast. That week I met with him and Sam Brown (director) to try for the part of Mr. Wilson, the hotel owner. I read the scenes, got the part, and went on to have a load of fun with the show and my new castmates. Afterward I lent a hand to a few subsequent productions, sold tickets, concessions, and in 2018 was inducted onto the HCCT board.”
He enjoys the community theatre because of the sense of community, fellowship and family that goes with it. Christopher goes on to say “For any show you are involved in, all three of those come into play. The community of the area you serve, the fellowship and family that your cast becomes. You make new friends and experiences that will stay with you forever. Anyone will tell you any show is always a lot of hard work, but it is ultimately very rewarding.”
Thank you Christopher for all the hard work and dedication you provide the community theatre and it’s patrons!
